Hey Guys, I'm just interested in the times and places that my fello Christians feel closest too Jesus in. Could be in bed, outside, by the sea etc. If it's not too personal would love too know. Also, a personal question so you don't have too answer, how and when does he comunicate with you, and what's your fave way too pray too him. Writing, in your heart, speaking out loud etc. Would love too know your answers too these questions if they are not too personal. God bless you all! May Jesus keep you all safe till we meet at the Kingdom's entrance! Sazel.
Sorry, that's sposed too be pray for didn't have enough room, smiles.
I believe that Jesus is everywhere, in what we do and in everywhere there is good. But of course, he can also be there during bad times to help us thru them or when we ask him for help. So for me, I can't think of a specific place I'd feel closest to him, besides maybe church. As for praying, I usually do that during church or else when I'm alone and/or quietly.

I like to sit outside and read the Bible and/or pray. I like to write. I like to sing to Him at church and in my room.
When I am in church and t hey pray and sing. It touches my heart so much that I cry some tears, but afterwards I feel really happy and - yeah, I feel like I am flying.
It always gets to me when our Pastor leads any one who wants to accecpt Christ at the end of the services and you hear him say "God Bless you, sir (Ma'am)" Winning people to the kingdom is what this is all about.
Or when I listen to christian music. The text get near me very often and I feel touched and I feel that Jesus is near me then.
Any time I open the Word I feel close to the Lord. We are supposed to study the Word Daily. I know that most believers struggle in this area. I know I do.

No I don't but I pray and I feel close to god without reading the bible every day.
Good topic! I love to pray out loud, in a quiet setting such as my room or out in the woods, or even next to a running stream, or river. I also have a hard time spending time in God's Word, and when in His Word, I have a hard time consintrating on the message.
Tuning in to God first thing in the morning always starts the day off right. Giving God praise in the morning makes the day go smoother. God says in His Word, that we all should put Him first in our lives. Unfortunatly, we forget and put Him last. Sad as that seems, it is way too true and real.
LOL, I like praying out loud too, but my parents and sister think I'm crazy for talking to myself but who cares? Not me, not God. LOL I'll talk if I want.
I feel close to Jesus when I'm listening to Christian music, when I'm at church or with the youth group. When things happen, and I know that Jesus guides us in spirit...when I'm around a positive environment....i pray every night when I am alone in my room....i feel him when I hear the rain.
Usually if I'm sitting on the toilet, feeling extremely drunk. a bad case of the shits, and a bucket in hand ready to catch my alcohol and kibab filled puke. That I would say is the only time I feel close to jesus, and only then because I feel so desperately ill that I'm ready and drunk enough to accept the existance of just about anything.
I think about jesus when I'm taking a shit and it doesn't want to come out. I also think about him when I feel like nailing any random hsmuck to a cross.
I feel closest to him when I'm at church or around my christian friends, or when I'm struggling with a situation.

Whenever I feel close to Jesus, I'm usually in a quiet place. I also keep a prayer journal so that I can write whenever I feel like I need to talk to him.
The prayer journal sounds like a cool idea. *smile* Maybe I should start one myself, as I know reading and writing more about and to God/Jesus would really help me to feel closer.
It helps me feel closer to him. You can if you feel like it.
I feel close to him when I'm sitting at my keyboard writing songs. I feel close to him when I'm reading his word. I feel close to him when I'm writing in my diary. I feel close to him when I'm falling asleep, and early in the morning when the day is brand-new.
When im drinking a beer i feel like he is their with me drinking one as well and giving me his blessing
WTF, drinking?
Hmmmmm, either at church or here when I am doing my services for him.
Drinking? LOL, that sounds interesting.
I feel close to Jesus when I am listening to His words. He is talking to me through His words and teachings. Leilani if you want to feel closer to Him, maybe you want to visit:

I feel close to him when I am in a situation. I also feel close to him when I prayer with my family and friends.
I don't know if there's a specific time I feel closest to Jesus, but I do make an effort to read the Bible each night and to pray. As for prayer, I'd say I like a combination of mental and very soft vocal prayers. I pray a lot, as I find it helps me focus on Christ and I can get through my day easier.
I feel closer to Jesus any time I pray. It is hard for me to pray at home cause my mom is catholic and I decited to turn the other direction and went with pentecost, my mom does not believe in speaking in toungues and I have to respact that so in our church we have this room called The Prayer Room and thats the best time when I can get Loud and pray. It is ausome getting in his pressence. His pressence is so powerful that I feel week and have to get on my knees and pray, some times I Just end up falling. God is Holy. He gave up his Ghost for us. Check out my LJ it is in my profile. I like to write things down as I learn them.
I've never been very vocal when I pray. I know it's not a bad thing, but sometimes I just want to be better at proclaiming Jesus loudly. It is when the room is quiet that I hear Him tthe most. But He's everywhere...also, after I've done somethin rong. Then it's easy to find Him. I like the prayer journal thing. I've written in one a couple of ties, but need to get back into t. I function better when I write.
i feel closest to him when i am listening to christian music. and when there are dark times i feel as if he is right there helping me through whatever the problem may be. As for praying, I usually pray by my self.
